|
The dairy and cheese barn is in full construction! The posts have been set, drain pipes dug in, and concrete should be poured Thursday September 25th. By October 3rd the exterior of the dairy should be complete. We will then get the electricity installed and well dug. Kristy and Jess need a working bathroom! |

This is the dairy on September 30th, the exterior of the building is done, the concrete has been poured, the drains installed, the water line is stubbed in, and the septic system has been dug and waiting to be hooked up. Electricity should be coming soon, then we will start framing and finishing the inside. Kristy is working on choosing equipment, pasteurizer, bulk tanks, milking system, and aging room material. We are excited to get the dairy buttoned up so we can work on the interior this winter! We finished the hay baling a couple weeks ago and have put up 800 small square bales in the large barn. It is nice to have the winter feed put up before the weather takes a turn for the worse. |

This is the barn for the goat bucks and llama studs, it is 24x64 and 10 feet high. It was completed on October 3rd! It will give us plenty of room for the animals and storage. Hank and the crew from FBI are doing an awesome job! |
