Tuesday June 2nd, dirt started moving at the site of our house!   Within 2-3 weeks we should have a completed basement and begin framing!

The basement was excavated in one day, footers were dug and poured, then soon after the forms were set for the basement walls.  The walls have been poured, the drains are plumbed, and pea gravel has been layed as a base.  Within a few days the floor will be poured!

Forms are being set as well as the drains for the sink and bathroom in the basement.

This is the location of the south porch where the walk out basement will be.

Getting ready to reset the drains in the basement after a hard rain, the walls have been poured and we can now get the feel of the size of the basement!

June 22 The floor has been poured and there has been work done on the finish grade.  Framing should start late this week

June 29 Basement has been framed and the first floor will start soon!

July 4th Framing the first floor should be done this week
